Commission awards project to replace I-35 bridges in Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma Transportation Commission on Monday awarded an approximately $30 million contract to replace the Interstate 35 bridges over Deep Fork Creek in Oklahoma City.

The interstate bridges being replaced are located on I-35, just south of the Interstate 44 interchange.

Work is expected to begin this summer and will take up to 570 days to complete, said Trent January, urban construction engineer for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
