5 file for seat held by Benge
The state House speaker is stepping down because of term limits.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Five people have filed for the seat being vacated by House Speaker Chris Benge, R-Tulsa, who is term limited and can't seek re-election.
Three Republicans and two Democrats are vying for the House District 68 post.
Seth Watkins, a Democrat, said this is his first run for political office. He is a certified teacher but can't find a job in the field. He now works for Federal Express, he said.
He said that although he didn't follow the last legislative session closely, he is concerned about education. His other issues include accountable and open government, jobs and illegal immigration.
Watkins said he hopes to restore trust in government, adding that people are upset with both parties.
Democrat Troy Zickefoose of Sand Springs could not be reached for comment. Zickefoose is in the insurance business... FULL ARTICLE
