Retired Oklahoma City attorney Jerry Fent has filed more than a dozen lawsuits against the state.
A few of his more recent victories include a case in which he protested the transfer of civil filing fees to social programs.
In that case, the state Supreme Court this year ruled fees that were not used by the court were unconstitutional. That case involved various programs, including domestic abuse shelters and child abuse investigations.
Fent challenged three bond projects contained in one bill in 2009. His lawsuit said the bill violated a provision in the Constitution that says legislation should be limited to one subject... FULL ARTICLE
