An effort to remove Elizabeth Wright from the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Planning Commission never got to a vote Monday.
The petition, filed by County Commissioner Karen Keith, failed when
Keith's motion to remove Wright died because of a lack of a second.
Keith had alleged that Wright violated the Planning Commission's code of ethics pertaining to conflict of interest and conduct.
"I'm disappointed I wasn't successful in the petition," Keith
said after the Tulsa County Commission meeting. "I hope my concerns and
the statements of my fellow commissioners were heard by Miss Wright."
