The left lane of eastbound Oklahoma 51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) will be closed between Mingo and Garnett roads from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today for drainage cleaning, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation announced.

As part of Tulsa's Inner Dispersal Loop project, all lanes of eastbound Interstate 244 are closed on the west and north IDL legs of the until early 2011. The following ramps are closed until further notice:

  • Eastbound I-244 on and off-ramps at Cincinnati and Detroit avenues (north leg IDL)
  • North and southbound U.S. 75 access to eastbound I-244 (southwest IDL corner)
  • The two left lanes of northbound U.S. 75 approaching the southwest corner of the IDL
  • The southbound Tisdale Parkway off-ramp to eastbound I-244/U.S. 412

Officials also remind candidates in the state's elections to comply with state law and not post signs illegally on state highway right-of-ways or on overpasses, which could put campaign workers, drivers and maintenance crews in harm's way.
