OKLAHOMA CITY — Senate Democrats on Wednesday indicated their displeasure with the state budget process by voting against a measure to bring in more state revenue.
Meanwhile, lawmakers left the Capitol without a budget agreement, although they must adjourn by May 28.
Senate President Pro Tem Glenn Coffee, R-Oklahoma City, and House Speaker Chris Benge, R-Tulsa, had set an 11:30 a.m. Wednesday press conference on the budget. The press conference was delayed and then canceled.
