OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Select Oklahoma turnpikes and highways speed limits will be increased, after a new bill is signed into law by Governor Kevin Stitt.

House Bill 1071 would raise limits on these designated areas from the now enforced 70 to 75 miles per hour, to 75 to 80 miles per hour.

A study by the state's turnpike authority and ODOT will be conducted to ensure that raising the speed limit in the areas selected is not a threat to public safety... FULL ARTICLE & WATCH VIDEO
