The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is seeking input on a
proposed widening project of Highway 169 from Interstate 244 to 56th
Street North.
Plans call for widening the highway from four to six lanes and for
bridge rehabilitation work at Pine Street. The work would be done with
existing right-of-way and no land would need to be purchased.
The call for input is required by the government to get as much
information as possible about the proposed project area. While there is
no start date for the project, tentative plans call for a part of the
work to be placed up for bid this fall.
All input should be submitted to ODOT by September ninth.
