The Durant City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 4 p.m. inside the Durant City Hall. Last week members rescheduled their regular meeting of the Durant Community Facilities Authority (DCFA) due to the lack of a quorum.
This month the council will decide on resolution 2010-28 which will call for a special election for a council member for Ward 3, Ward 5 and council-member-at-large for the City of Durant.
They will also authorize the application to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for the funding of the Streetscape downtown enhancement projects and the General Services Administration lease agreement at City Hall.
