City spending $1.7 million on Oklahoma City Blvd. landscaping

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — Oklahoma City Blvd. is a project being done by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to replace the old I-40.

But the city is stepping in for a $1.7 million addition of landscaping on the road.

"Once they're done they'll turn that over to the city," Oklahoma City public works department spokesperson Shannon Cox said. "It will become city property." FULL ARTICLE
