OKLAHOMA CITY – Former Assistant Secretary of the Interior for Indian Affairs Neal McCaleb and U.S. Rep. Tom Cole will be two of the featured speakers at this year’s Indian Country Business Summit, officials with the event said.
McCaleb, who also served as the state’s transportation secretary under Govs. Henry Bellmon and Frank Keating, will join attorney Marc Nuttle and other tribal leaders in a panel discussion on economic development and industry recruitment.
Cole, a Republican and member of the Chickasaw Nation, will speak on tribal issues.
Officials with the Tribal Government Institute – a sponsor of the summit – said more than 250 business industry and tribal representatives are expected to attend. The event will include a golf tournament, a reception at the Riverwind Casino and a trade show... FULL ARTICLE
