Commissioners approve resolution to replace Teresita bridge

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners on April 16 approved a project agreement with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to replace a bridge in Teresita.

District 1 Commissioner Doug Hubbard said the current bridge over Double Springs Creek was not properly constructed.

“It’s sound, but it’s in the wrong place, too low,” he said.
