Sequoyah County Commissioners dealt with signing documents for projects supported by state and federal funds at their regular meeting Monday.
Travis Smalls with Engineers Services Tahlequah, the county’s engineers, explained that the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) is asking for agreements which set out exactly what the county and what ODOT are responsible for in contracts.
“They want to make sure they have the right to handle the projects for the county, and these agreements set out the responsibilities for both,” Smalls said... FULL ARTICLE
