In anticipation of the traffic expected for the Red River Rivalry game between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners, TxDOT and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation will suspend work on most I-35 projects from early Friday morning until late Monday evening.
The transportation agencies announced that there will be no lane closures planned between Oklahoma City and Austin during peak travel periods.
However, they're reminding motorists traveling to and from the game that there are more than 30 miles of construction in Central Texas, with some lane width reductions along the corridor that may contribute to traffic slowdowns and delays... FULL ARTICLE
