Blowing snow is causing visibility problems on highways and interstates across the state this morning, the state Department of Transportation reports.
Drivers are urged to avoid travel during this storm. Roadways are snow-packed and slick statewide, and both the Tulsa and Oklahoma City metro areas are reporting poor visibility conditions. Crews are out treating roadways, but travel remains extremely hazardous at this time, ODOT reports.
Statewide there are 115 crews and 430 trucks available with more than 69,000 tons of salt and sand and salt mix; 63,000 tons of sand and more than 121 tons of magnesium chloride in 110 sheds... FULL ARTICLE AND WATCH VIDEO
