Crews work around clock to prepare for winter storm

-- State and local crews said they have prepared for days ahead of Tuesday’s winter storm.

Crews said they barely had enough time to clear the roads before the second round of snow hit.

“They are tired; they haven't had any break at all,” said Jack Damrill with the Turnpike Authority. “They've had about a day to rest. Other than that, they've been fixing trucks.”

On Tuesday, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and Turnpike Authority trucks hit the highways, preparing roads for more snow. Last week’s blizzard caused accidents for drivers, including some snow plow drivers... FULL ARTICLE
