Cummins wins resurfacing job

Oklahoma Transportation Commission has awarded a $3.5 million contract to Cummins Construction Co. to resurface a stretch of highway in Garfield County.

Cummins will resurface six miles of U.S. 412 from 30th, extending east. The Enid company was the lowest of three bidders for the project.

Once construction begins, Oklahoma Department of Transportation said the project is estimated to be completed within three months.
