EDMOND — Edmond didn’t get a piece of the $1.5 billion in federal stimulus money that was handed out this week.
City officials asked for $60 million for three transportation projects. But applications totaling $54 billion were received for $1.5 billion in transportation grant money.
Recipients were announced Wednesday, the first anniversary of President Barack Obama signing the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the federal stimulus bill.
