Republican Mary Fallin's gubernatorial campaign raked in nearly $750,000 from April 1 through July 12, according to documents filed Monday with the Oklahoma Ethics Commission.
Democratic candidate Drew Edmondson's campaign reported nearly $500,000 in contributions. He continues to lead all candidates in total contributions for the campaign, however, with nearly $2.6 million raised.
Fallin, who did not formally enter the race until earlier this year, has raised a little more than $2.4 million.
Democrat Jari Askins and Republican Randy Brogdon, the other major candidates in the race to succeed term-limited Gov. Brad Henry, a Democrat, had not filed their reports by 9 p.m. Monday. Candidates had until midnight to do so.
Fallin listed just less than $700,000 in contributions from individuals for the period, $44,710.77 from political action committees, and $5,566.17 worth of in-kind contributions, for a total of $748,540.43.
