Farm Bureau urges No on 744

(Tulsa, OK) - The number of groups coming out against State Question 744 is growing. The Oklahoma Farm Bureau can now be added to the list.

Bureau President Mike Spradling says passage of 744 would be devastating to most state agencies. He says it would take a 20 percent cut to pay for the measure.

The Oklahoma Farm Bureau estimates it would result in 125 highway patrol troopers being let go. It's also estimated 200 bridges that could be fixed by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation would go unrepaired... FULL ARTICLE
