OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma Republicans have made dramatic gains in the state Legislature, picking up six new seats in the Senate and eight in the House to increase their majority status.
GOP candidates defeated some Democratic incumbents in Tuesday's general election and won open seats previously held by Democrats.
Republicans now have a 32-16 edge over Democrats in the 48-member Senate and outnumber Democrats 70-31 in the 101-member House... FULL ARTICLE
