Oklahoma Republicans could be on the verge of a sweep of statewide offices, a poll by Oklahoma City-based SoonerPoll.com shows.
GOP candidates led their Democratic opponents by margins ranging from a few points to nearly 40 in the survey of 352 likely voters taken Oct. 3-7.
The big leader was U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn, who polled 62 percent against Democrat Jim Rogers and two independents, with 13 percent undecided.
Rogers, a perennial candidate with virtually no active campaign, received 22 percent. Independents Stephen Wallace and Ronald F. Dwyer each received 1 percent.
