Heavier trucks on OK roads a possibility (ARTICLE & VIDEO)

After 60 years, David McCorkle is still trucking.

"I just like to get up and go hunting every morning, and I just hunt for loads. So as long as I can get up and go hunting I'm going to do it," said McCorkle.

He's been through some rough hunting seasons.

"We had a terrible year in 2009 and fell off as much as 30 or 40 percent, but it's showing signs of recovery now, and we're moving along in pretty good shape," said McCorkle.

Just as business is improving for McCorkle, big changes could be down the road.

Congress is looking at increasing the amount trucks can carry by 20 percent from 80,000 pounds to 97,000 pounds.
