OKLAHOMA
CITY (AP) - The westbound lanes of Interstate 40 through downtown
Oklahoma City are back open after a large hole was discovered in the
middle of the Crosstown Expressway.
The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says two lanes of
westbound traffic were shut down for nearly six hours Saturday so crews
could make emergency repairs.
ODOT spokesman David Meuser says the lanes were shut down about 1:15 p.m. and reopened about 7 p.m.
The hole was discovered along the Crosstown Expressway between Western and Classen avenues.
