Input needed at hearing; environmental assessment on S.H. 82 available for review

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, is hosting a formal public hearing on the proposed project to reconstruct and widen State Highway 82 from the Bertha Parker Bypass in Tahlequah north to Gideon in Cherokee County.

The event will be Thursday, Aug. 24, at 6 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom at Northeastern State University, 612 N. Grand Ave.
