Hooray for your recent editorial addressing State Question 744 ("SQ 744," April 10).
Having served in the Oklahoma Legislature for a number of years and as chairwoman of an education subcommittee every year, I have about seen it all in good and bad ideas.
I hope our common-sense Oklahomans will vote "No" on what I consider to be a very bad idea. I realize our education system needs more funds, but so do many other agencies. However, trying to "keep up with the Joneses" is a very nutty thought... FULL ARTICLE
