OKLAHOMA CITY — An Oklahoma City attorney filed a lawsuit Monday saying some professional licensing fees were being used to pay for things other than policing those professions.
Jerry Fent filed the suit in the Oklahoma Supreme Court.
Oral arguments before a Supreme Court referee are set for 10:30 a.m. June 9.
Fent's lawsuit names 18 defendants and State Treasurer Scott Meacham.
He is challenging the redistribution of funds collected to license several professions, including doctors, nurses, veterinarians and accountants... FULL ARTICLE
