Love's celebrates opening of new travel center in Pauls Valley

Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores celebrated the grand opening of a new travel stop in Pauls Valley on Friday.

PAULS VALLEY — Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores only moved a couple of miles down the road, but it seems like a lot further than that.

Love's celebrated the grand opening of a “state-of-the-art” travel center Friday in Pauls Valley with a parade through the city.

CEO Tom Love said the parade, from the old Love's on the west side of Exit 72 on Interstate 35 to the new location on the east side of exit 70, was his first.

The procession, which included a variety of Love's trucks, emergency vehicles and cheerleaders from Pauls Valley High School, wound through town, stopping to hand out candy and beef jerky at an elementary school.

Love said the new store, which replaced one built in 1983, is the best Love's has to offer.

It is larger than most Love's locations in Oklahoma, with two additional sets of gas pumps, larger restrooms, a full gift shop and an increased selection of products for truck drivers and recreational vehicle enthusiasts... FULL ARTICLE
