Meacham: State revenue improving

OKLAHOMA CITY – Though state Treasurer Scott Meacham has stopped using the words “cautiously optimistic,” he isn’t going to start singing – just yet.
With state revenue collections showing “continued signs of improvement,” Meacham said the state appears to have turned a corner in February.
And while that’s good news, it’s not good enough for a song.
“It’s not quite time to sing Happy Days Are Here Again, but we are seeing signs of recovery in Oklahoma’s economy,” Meacham said Tuesday during a Capitol press conference. “April collections are slightly ahead of revised projections made in February.”...FULL ARTICLE
