A significant drop in Oklahoma City's sales tax revenue is forcing Metro Transit officials to consider changes that would impact those who depend on public transportation. The options are raising the cost of bus fare from $1.25 to $1.50 or eliminate free bus transfers. Other changes include adding unlimited day passes for $4.00 and a week pass for $15.00. Currently, Metro Transit does not offer either. Public meetings are set for today from 11:30 to 12:15 p.m. at the Capitol Hill Library. Also Monday, May 24th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at MetroTech, 1900 Springlake Drive.
