The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) approved the installation of additional cable barriers along Interstate 40 in Sequoyah County.
David Meuser, ODOT spokesman, said the barrier will be put up a little over a mile east of the Muldrow interchange going east to U.S. Highway 64 at Roland.
“Although the area is three miles long, there will of course be breaks in the cable barrier for things like bridges etc.,” Meuser said.
He said the low bid was just over $480,000 by Midstate Traffic Control Inc. out of Oklahoma City... FULL ARTICLE
