Restore T.R.U.S.T.

TULSA, Ok. - As of last weekend, more traffic lanes are open on Highway 169 between Owasso and Tulsa. The Oklahoma Department of Transportation still has another layer of asphalt to put down, but they can't do that until the temperature gets above 60. ODOT's Mark Zishka told our partners at the News On Six that they didn't want to wait that long and went ahead and opened the lanes. He said, "Trying to wait for favorable days to place that stuff, we would have extended lane closures that would continue to hamper traffic, so to speak." Zishka said there will be some lane closures when that top layer is eventually put down, but the work is on track to end by March 31st. (Photo courtesy News On 6)
