Northbound and southbound U.S. 169 will be narrowed to one lane at various locations between 11th Street and 46th Street North until 6 a.m. today for surface repair, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation announced.
Also on U.S. 169, northbound lanes will be closed at 56th Street North until 6 a.m. today and southbound lanes will be closed at 56th Street North from 11 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. Friday for bridge repairs. Officials said detour routes are marked, but advise drivers to avoid the area.
Officials said drivers can also expect a slight shift in traffic lanes on southbound U.S. 169 at Pine Street, as both eastbound and westbound sides closed Wednesday as part of the widening project continuing through August.
As part of Tulsa's Inner Dispersal Loop project, all lanes of eastbound Interstate 244 are closed on the west and north legs of the IDL until early 2011. Officials said to expect delays and plan for extra travel time in this area as traffic adjusts to the changes... FULL ARTICLE
