EDMOND — City officials anticipate spending about $600,000 to move utility lines in private easements in preparation for a $16.1 million road-widening project in northwest Edmond.
Improvements are being made along Covell Road and Kelly Avenue.
The costs for some of the utility work came in higher than expected, while other work came in below cost estimates, City Engineer Steve Manek said.
City council members will consider a $58,924.96 increase in the cost of moving a natural gas pipeline belonging to Duke Conoco Phillips Midstream.
