TULSA - Major road work continues along I-44 Friday and drivers should be prepared for new delays along the Arkansas River bridge.
Crews have narrowed the westbound lanes of the I-44 bridge voer the river to continue working on a concrete barrier, leaving room for only two lanes of traffic.
Crews have been working to add concrete barricades on the westbound bridge lanes, essentially splitting the bridge in two.
Soon the eastbounnd I-44 bridge will close and all traffic will divert to the westbound bridge.
Construction on the bridge and through the Riverside and Peoria interchanges will be in full swing for the next two years... FULL ARTICLE & WATCH VIDEO
