Tulsa - Expect new traffic tie-ups in the coming days as a batch of new construction projects are beginning on Tulsa highways.
On Highway 169, a widening project will begin from Interstate 244 all the way to 56th Street North that will affect traffic in and out of Tulsa from Owasso.
The plan there is to widen the lanes from four to six and to relieve traffic congestion. Drivers who take the route know it's often bumper to bumper with people driving in to work in Tulsa.
The 16-million dollar project is expected to take just over a year to complete...
