New on-ramp, improvements to Main Street in Sand Springs to bring more business

SAND SPRINGS, Okla. (KTUL) -- Sand Springs is getting $8 million in improvements to its Main Street and Sandites believe the pay off will be worth the 18 months of construction.

The project has been in the works for years.

But finally, the dirt is moving.

“We think this will continue to spur economic development for the city and specifically for River West,” Grant Gerondale, the Director of Community Development said
