MIAMI, Okla. — One of the deadliest traffic accidents in Oklahoma history will be the subject of a National Transportation Safety Board hearing.
The NTSB is set to meet Tuesday morning in Washington, D.C., to discuss the June 26, 2009, accident on the Will Rogers Turnpike near Miami. After the meeting, a summary of the board's final report on the accident will be issued.
Authorities say the accident occurred when a tractor-trailer slammed into vehicles that had stopped on the highway for another accident. The crash killed four people from Oklahoma City; three from Frisco, Texas; one from Crossroads, Texas, and two from Phoenix... FULL ARTICLE
