The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is advising motorists to use caution this weekend and beyond as work continues on the project to widen Interstate 44.
ODOT says by 7 p.m. Saturday, the eastbound I-44 off-ramp to Peoria Avenue will close until further notice.
While the eastbound I-44 off-ramp to Lewis Avenue will be open, ODOT motorists should avoid that exit if possible due to the expected high volume of traffic.
The eastbound I-44 on-ramp from Peoria Avenue will remain open, ODOT says. Also, drivers should be alert to crews working along the eastbound I-44 frontage road between Utica Avenue and Lewis Avenue from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday... FULL ARTICLE
