OKLAHOMA CITY -- Commissioners for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation today are scheduled to vote on an estimated $10 million bridge rehabilitation and painting project Monday that will improve several structures along the Inner Dispersal Loop.
The work will serve as a complement to the IDL’s recent $75 million resurfacing project.
Five companies bid for the project, with V.H.P Enterprises Inc. of Florida offering the lowest at $8.9 million, ODOT records show.
The bridge rehabilitation and painting project is scheduled to last two-thirds of a year.
Commissioners are also scheduled to vote on an estimated $439,800 project to repair the deck of the U.S. 75 bridge over Nickle Creek.
The bridge is located in Jenks and sits about two miles north of State Highway 117.
Work will last about 70 days, reports show.
