ODOT reminds drivers of Tulsa area's ongoing road projects

Oklahoma Department of Transportation officials asked that motorists be aware of ongoing road projects in the Tulsa area and drive with caution in these construction zones.

193rd East Avenue is narrowed to one through lane in each direction at the Interstate 44 junction until further notice as part of a widening project.

The eastbound Interstate 44 off-ramp to southbound U.S. 75 is closed until further notice for a bridge deck replacement. The northbound U.S. 75 off-ramp to eastbound I-44 is also closed as part of this project.

All lanes of eastbound I-44 are shifted onto new driving lanes between Yale Avenue and the 41st Street bridge until further notice as part of a widening project. Officials said drivers should take note of the following in this area:

- Westbound I-44 traffic remains shifted onto the frontage road between the 41st Street bridge and Yale Avenue.

- Both the eastbound I-44 on-ramp from Yale Avenue and the off-ramp to 41st Street will be closed.

- The access road on the south side of the highway will remain open.

- The westbound I-44 on-ramp from 41st Street and all lanes of Darlington Avenue at the I-44 junction remain closed.

Various lane closures continue on east and westbound I-244 at Harvard Avenue until further notice as part of a city of Tulsa bridge-repair project... FULL ARTICLE
