TULSA, Okla. — As part of what is described as a massive widening project, traffic is now up to three west bound lanes on I-44 between the Broken Arrow Expressway and Harvard and some eastbound portions as well.
Traffic was flowing smoothly on that section of I-44 Wednesday. Kenna Mitchell, spokesperson for the Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation told us drivers will be happy with the impact.
"I know a lot of drivers were thrilled to see the barrels coming up off the roadway and getting to finally drive on that new lane of interstate," she said... FULL ARTICLE
