Construction workers place "road closed" signs across Harvard Avenue while contractors with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation prepare to demolish the old Interstate 44 bridges that span the street. Harvard will be closed until 6 a.m. Monday. During the weekend, southbound traffic on Harvard will be diverted to the frontage road to Lewis Avenue, and northbound traffic will be diverted to 51st Street, ODOT announced. The work is part of a $360 million project to improve and widen I-44 from Riverside Drive to Yale Avenue.
