TULSA - Oklahoma Department of Transportation crews will start work on a bridge that is falling apart.
The I-44 bridge at 161st street will be replaced.
ODOT officials say this bridge has been a problem with falling concrete and potholes.
They say replacing the entire bridge is the best way to go.
"We had actually scheduled this bridge replacement project as part of a widening project in this cooridor about 2 years from now, but just recognizing that the bridge was really not aging well, we advanced just the bridge replacement portion by about 2 years," said Kenna Mitchell, ODOT Spokesperson...
