State candidates file campaign finance reports

Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner Dana Murphy has raised more than $300,000 in her bid to win a full six-year term on the utility-regulating board while her GOP opponent in next week's primary has filed papers stating he doesn't plan to spend or raise more than $500, reports filed with the state Ethics Commission show.
Murphy, elected in 2008 to fill the remaining two years of an unexpired term, reported raising $181,188 during the most recent reporting period, April 1-July 12.
She reported having $372,730 on hand as of last week. She also reported receiving $13,500 since then.
Tod Yeager, of Del City, filed an affidavit with the Ethics Commission stating he did not plan to have more than $500 of activity in his campaign.
No Democrat or independent has filed for the seat, meaning the top vote-getter in next week's contest will win the post... FULL ARTICLE
