Oklahoma company replacing Chilocco Creek bridge on U.S. 77

CHILOCCO — Traffic on U.S. 77 in the Chilocco Creek area — two miles south of the Kansas state line — is using a single lane due to ongoing construction work.

The deck of the bridge over Chilocco Creek is being replaced by Wittwer Construction Co., of Stillwater, according to Oklahoma Department of Transportation spokesman Cole Hackett.

The work began March 14 and is scheduled to continue through June, Hackett said today. Wittwer Construction won a contract to do the work for an expected cost of nearly $600,000, he said... FULL ARTICLE
