OKLAHOMA CITY — State transportation officials say four highways remain closed or partially closed because of flooding from heavy rain in eastern Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says in Cherokee County, Oklahoma Highway 80 between Hulbert and State Highway 251A and Oklahoma 10 in several locations along U.S. 62 are shut down.

In Okmulgee County, Oklahoma Highway 16 west of Beggs is closed.

And in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma Highway 101 west of Short is open but restricted to one lane.

ODOT officials are urging drivers to remain alert to changing conditions and to not drive into water on roadways.
