OKLAHOMA CITY -- The state got better news about revenues for the first time in more than a year on Tuesday.
State revenue collections for March topped the previous year's numbers for the first time since December 2008 and exceeded the official estimate for a second consecutive month, State Treasurer Scott Meacham announced.
Preliminary reports show general revenue fund collections for March were $401.3 million, which is $6.4 million or 1.6 percent above last year and $81.4 million or 25.5 percent above the estimate... FULL ARTICLE
