OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma is among the top states in the country when it comes to doling out its stimulus money for transportation projects.
State officials showed off several projects on Monday to the country's top transportation decision makers.
According to federal statistics, Oklahoma ranks seventh among states for the way it spends highway stimulus money, gets projects under way and creates jobs in the construction industry.
Since receiving its stimulus money one year ago, Oklahoma has put its money to work on highway projects all over the state. U.S. Rep James Oberstar, D-Minnesota, said Oklahoma has been an example for the rest of the country...
