On-going Construction Projects:
Inner Dispersal Loop lane and ramp closures
The west leg of the IDL (eastbound I-244) is now open to traffic. The north leg (eastbound I-244) is expected to remain closed until early 2011. Drivers are urged to use caution in this area as traffic adjusts to changes. The south and east legs of the IDL remain the primary detour routes around the closures.
Additional Lane and Ramp closures include:
The left lane of east and westbound I-244 on the west leg of the IDL (NW corner to SW corner) until further notice to build a median access road. This will be used as a future detour route for the I-244/Arkansas River bridge project, tentatively scheduled to bid in Spring 2011. Drivers can expect delays in this area... FULL ARTICLE
